Why You Ask
"And even when you ask, you don't get it because your motives are all wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure."
It is easy to bring God a wish list. It is harder — and more honest — to bring Him the question behind the wish. God is less concerned with what we are asking for than with why we are asking for it.
